Whew..its been a long time since I wrote anything. Been very busy recently, collecting forms, money....and wat not. Also brought students to the Ngee Ann Polytechnic open house. Took part in 2 competitions - electrifying connections and bridge building competition. sad to say, none came in with any prizes. However, I must comment the students for showing such enthusiam and drive for excellence. Their attitude puts me to shame. Haha.
There was a classical joke. After a bridge has been built, weights was to be loaded on the bridge to test its strength. This particular facilitator showed her ignorance by commenting that weights should be lifted off the bridge the moment it was put on as a longer time frame will damage it. What rubbish!!! Its an insult to engineers. Does it mean that the moment a car goes onto the bridge, it will disappear instantly?
Then my car broke down for no rhyme or reason. My good friend, Mr Tan was around to help me solve it. Felt really bad to make him stay till 9 pm on wednesday to change the faulted spark plugs. The plugs themselves cost a whopping $75.60. Supposed to be some platinum material...wat crap. cannot even withstand a simple speed of 180.
