The new teaching schedule is finally out. I'll be teaching a totally new subject next year. However, no rewards for making the correct guess...Mathematics. Need to start making preparations for the subject. Everything can wait till after a good and long break.

It is a very lousy movie, dun ever go and watch it. There are no advaced gadgets as compared to the previous movie, a Bond that does not have charisma but rather look like a killer on the loose and a love story that only seems to focus on their kissing skills, put all these together and what you get is "Casino Royale." For once though, the woman of interest dies instead of living happily ever after and finally, to me, it seems that the director loves Wong Jing gambling movies, especially the God of Gamblers Part 2. But again the lack of suspense thwart it all. Chow Yun Fatt is still the best. The fact that I went to Yishun to watch and the small seats further dampen my spirits. Overall the movie gets 4 'kwangs', 1 more and I will take whatever's in my hand and fling it straight at the screen.
After that, we drove to Boon Lay market for the Nasi Lemak. The standard of food has seriously dropped. Rice is too watery with no pandan smell, chicken too bland obviously from a very short marinating time. Teh Tarik was however alright apart from the excess milk. As usual, fame has gotten into the minds of the vendors and their number one concern is no longer to serve customers good food.

Yesterday the whole Science department had lunch at Bumbu restaurant, courtesy of Miss Yam. Since its so near to Hong Lim Complex, I decided to walk over to take a look at the famous curry mee and the Tiong Bahru Bao next door. Of course, I did not return empty handed. Packeted 5 egg tarts, 10 big chicken pau and 2 char siew pau. Bai chi bu yan!!!

The Music and Movement Day is finally over. With that, the school year of 2006 can be said to come officially to an end. Enjoy the upcoming long holidays.....I would also take the chance to thank the Infocomm club students for braving the storms with me and kudos for a job well done. Hopefully, we can all take our skills to a higher level in the coming year.

Started the day on a bad note. First, someone scratched my car boot. Frightfully ugly with 4 marks on the otherwise shiny surface......Then I decided to give my wife a 'bath', when it is all nice and sparkling, something dropped from the sky and dirtied it again. These are times when i heave signs of relieve that mine is actually a second hand car!!!
Wanted to go Vivocity to watch 'Casion Royale' with my friend but gave up in the end for my favourite hobby. After that, we went to Crystal Jade(xiao long bao la mien) at Suntec branch for dinner. I felt human for the first time in 3 days.(er it's been that long since i started a diet..haha) We had many varieties and i really was a long time since we ate there.
But the best us yet to come. Switching on the television to reaffirm Mr Ng's sms, our beloved government has declared a 2.2 month year end bonus. Finally the signs of an improving economy is showing. Now I can carry a smile to my dreams to end off an otherwise bad day.

Thank you Shannen. U have brighten up an otherwise boring holiday for me. I will try much harder to interest the other students. "I not only want to teach, I want to inspire." (wanna vomit right!!!)
Yesterday I went for my yearly medical review with Raffles Medical Group. I was appalled at the doctor for she said that I have mild hypertension and refer me to Alexandra Hospital to see a weight loss specialist. What crap. Sometimes I love the doctors but at times like these, I feel like wringling their scrawny necks. Dun they realise the significance of their words. I stress again here: "IT IS NOT A CRIME TO BE FAT." However, I'm taking drastic measures to prove the doctor wrong....wait and see
On a brighter note, I went bowling again today and managed scores of 161, 144, 144, 160, 154, 166, 152 &125. It's an awesome average of 150.6. Much as I wanted to give myself a reward, I'm still way short of my target for an O2. I did it b4 and I will do it again.

People say life is full of challenges and surprises. Why is it that time seems to run endlessly and slowly? What happens at the end of the tunnel? Do we see light as it is or just a glance of something being burnt? Eg potassium.
As I get older, I start to question myself on the meaning of life. Are we living it for others or are we living it for ourselves, the way we want it to be run, to be seen? Can we ever upgrade ourselves and move away from the glancing eyes of passer-bys?
Sorry not to sound pessismistic or anything but some queries that I have which many others have left a different impression as they made their brief acquantiance.

Went for 7 games of bowling again...122, 105, 111, 111, 138, 165 & 128. My knee nearly broke just now. Told my friend that if I had a score above 130, will treat myself to earthquake and steak. Had a really full meal just now. If I have a high of 200 and above, I will reward myself with a O2 Exec PDA phone. Will history repeat itself?????

After spending Saturday at Sentosa viewing the 'Images of Singapore' and Fort Siloso with the PRC/councillors, I can firmly say that history is definitely not my cup of tea although it was pretty amazing to look back over the years of development. It was also raining non-stop. I was wishing for a steamboat to appear to lift my spirits.
Sunday was a more exciting day. I got to do my favourite activity but I can't say what is it here. Too bad. Then I went for dinner at Bobby Robinos'. Fried crispy calamari plus spicy seafood pizza together with mushroom soup really end a wonderful day. Sigh...cannot imagine the amount of calories and cholestrol (pardon my sp)........
And liverpool had to lose to start the week.
